  1. 1 Preheat oven to 200C and line a baking tray
  2. 2 Unroll pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface
  3. 3 Spread pesto evenly leaving a 1cm border
  4. 4 Scatter grated cheese over pesto
  5. 5 Season with black pepper
  6. 6 Roll tightly from the long edge into a log
  7. 7 Chill in fridge 10 mins to firm up
  8. 8 Slice into 1cm rounds
  9. 9 Place on baking tray
  10. 10 Brush with beaten egg
  11. 11 Bake 16-18 mins until golden and puffed
