📝 Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 180C, grease and line a loaf tin
  2. 2 Beat butter and sugar until pale
  3. 3 Add eggs one at a time with a spoonful of flour
  4. 4 Fold in remaining flour and zest of 2 lemons
  5. 5 Pour into tin, bake 28-30 mins until golden
  6. 6 While warm, mix juice of 2 lemons with icing sugar
  7. 7 Poke holes in top of cake with a skewer
  8. 8 Pour drizzle over warm cake, let it soak in
  9. 9 Leave to cool completely before slicing
